Snow & Christmas

We got the first snow of the season early this week. Where I grew up we never ever had snow but still snow in December inevitably says Christmas to me!. So it was time to start decorating the house a little bit! I didn't want to have a big tree (I also don't have room for one!) so I though that we could just do some DIY small versions and add some ornaments. I haven't finished my ornaments yet, but we made 2 small trees that I think they are pretty nice. Just had to pair them with some candles and some Christmas spirit and hat's it! :)

Gift Ideas - HOME wish list

Dear Santa, this is my Home wish list!

1. I love this antique wood sofa bench , it has a lot of character.

2. This Knotty Floor Cushion will bring some color and modern style to the room.

3. I'm in love with maps, and this vintage  Globe World Map is just perfect!

4. Round mirrors are great for small walls, I love this one!

5 A Danish inspired handmade Walnut Dresser  like this one is a treasure.

6. I'm a fan of hanging lamps, these are made of birch wood.

7. The easiest way to update you living room is adding some pillows. These with metallic colors are one of my favorites. 

8. These fancy pyramid display boxes are perfect to storage jewelry.

9. Wonderful design here! These octopus candle holders are original and fun!

Paper Flowers

I love to have flowers in the house, they add color, freshness and a little bit of romanticism, but honesty they never last long....
I have this ceramic pitcher at home that has a lovely vintage look and I want to fill it with lots of flowers. I have been thinking that maybe paper flowers could be a good idea. I have never made paper flowers before but I'm determined to try this project - hopefully I'll write another post with some pictures of my own paper flowers!
